You will hear the correct pronunciation and see thenames of images used throughout the rest of the games.E Rua, e Rua – Use your knowledge from the vocabulary practiceto correctly match the word to its image or vice versa before thetime limit runs out.Ihumanea – This multi-choice game aims to increase yourknowledge by introducing various sentence structures.Tohu Kupu – Use your knowledge from Ihumanea to correctly formthe Māori sentence, which is given to you in English totranslate.Kīkiki Pāoro – Answer the NZ general knowledge questions bykicking the rugby ball over the correct goal post.Other cool things- You can build your own alter-ego (Toikura) from a range ofoptions.- There is a scoreboard that displays the name, alter-ego(Toikura) and school of those who reign supreme.- There is also single player and multi-player options to testyour knowledge against others.- Create your own custom folders to play in all 5 games.- Share your folders with others and also accept their foldersto play on your device.

(Be Ready!)Build your vocabulary in a range of categories within this module.You can also record your own voice and practise forming letters andspelling words.To do in this module:- Swipe through the cards seeing and hearing a variety of words andpictures.- Record your own voice, temporarily, and compare with the defaultaudio.- Share the audio recording via email.- Change the audio or word to the existing cards via the Tautuhinga(Settings) function.- Practise writing the word in the guided or un-guided mode.- Select from a range of icons and colours to write with (taiaha,patu, butterfly, truck).- Play back the un-guided writing.Wero Hinengaro (Challenge the Mind)This module will test your knowledge and recall of the vocabularylearned in Kia Rite! This module is timed and you earn points forselecting the correct word or picture, but be careful as points arealso lost for incorrect answers. More icons are added as progressthrough the rounds.To do in this module:Play different modes:Picture mode – a word will show at the top of the screen and youhave to select the appropriate picture from the optionspresented.Text mode – a picture will show at the top of the screen and youhave to select the appropriate word from the optionspresented.- Turn the audio on to help you sound out the word.- Turn the audio off to make it harder.Wero Mahara (Challenge the Memory)Race against the clock, a challenger or the computer to match cardsand also earn points along the way. The words within each of thecategories have been split between the scenes and you have to findthe hidden items before the time runs out.
